lovely eyelashes!! i love the skull kneepads, too.
this one definitely looks like ballpoint pen (like you say in the above comment), but how do you get all the faint scumbling and shading? do you have a whole bunch of pens in different stages of wear, so while one is new and flowy, another is old and fading...? and what about the bright, crazy colors on your other ones? where do you get pens that color???
Thank you again^^ yes, it too is ballpoint pen. I just go to Dollar General and they have Bic Pens that come in 10 for a dollar packs, and they also have Unison Brand pens (which are the colorful ones) in 8 for a dollar packs. I just started experimenting with ink this one day in art class and really liked it and then i found those cheapo pens and started using them. Whenever I do effects, i just use crosshatching and stippling and scumbling, and I just ease up on the amount of pressure i use. Most people think that pens require a lot of pressure, and that to get darker shades you should apply more pressure, but really, if you use a lot of pressure, it warps the paper, so i just layer the pen on with a light touch. Sorry if I am rambling, I do enjoy discussing techniques quite a bit.
But thank you again (you have no idea how excited I was when I saw that you watched me and left comments XD)
