I know how this (the feeling, lyrics and such) feels, and you've depicted it to perfection. I'm especially fond of how the "Jill" side seems to be almost smirking and the "Jack" side looks like he's just realized he's emotionally numb and has accepted it. Their tiny floating hats equal happiness in my world right now.
I once was going to commission you to draw out "Coin-Operated Boy," but I've since changed my mind. Nice to see you did illustrate a Dresden Dolls song (and one of my favorites, I might add.) When you're accepting commissions again/I can afford more than a sketch I'll be right there. <3
